端午節 is a traditional festival in China.We celebrate this festival on the fifth day of May by lunar year.According to the history that there was a poet whose name is 屈原 cannot bear to stand idly by his country lost.Because of his suggestions cloudn't be adopt so he mopishly threw himself into river to commit suicide.People want to found his body so rowed the boat on river. In order to avoid the fish ate his body,people made 粽子 and threw it into the river. That's why the Chinese has package steamed rice dumpling and race dragon boat's custom.

流 is "flow" or "drift". Here it's the abbreviation of "流行".
感 is "feel", "realize" or "a sense of ... ". Here it's the abbreviation of "感冒".
流行 is "fashionable", "popular" or "something that spread quickly to many
places".
感冒 is "catch a cold" or the noun, "cold" in the phrase "catch a cold".
流感 is the abbreviation of "流行性感冒" and we usually talk in this way.
And namely it is "flu".

豬流感蔓延，世界各大通訊社，鏡頭聚焦墨西哥。醫療機構外面，民眾紛紛戴起口罩自保。美聯社前所未見的複合菌株新型豬流感病毒，近日迅速在墨西哥蔓延，墨國當局表示，感染病例目前多達1004例，68個死亡病例已有20例確定是豬流感造成。美國感染病例也增至八個。
急於防堵疫情的墨國聯邦政府如臨大敵，進行25年來最大規模的關閉公共場所行動，已把首都墨西哥市的博物館、圖書館、國營戲院及各級學校關閉，取消所有公共活動，並呼籲民眾避免到人群擁擠之處、避免搭乘地鐵；問候時不要握手、接吻；避免分享食物、共用杯子和餐具。
墨西哥當局並在首都為高危險群的醫療人員接種疫苗。政府共有50萬劑流感疫苗，但是一般民眾無法獲得。首都居民紛紛搶購口罩戴上，國際機場的旅客必須接受詢問，以免任何有流感症狀的人登機。
墨西哥總統卡德隆臨時取消行程，與內閣召開緊急會議，協調全國應變措施。
美國疾病防治中心（CDC）表示，新流感病毒也已經在美國造成八人患病，其中六人在加州、二人在德州。
CDC代理主任貝瑟說，現在要以接種疫苗、隔離等方式來防止豬流感在美國爆發，為時已晚，不過美國的豬流感病例都非常輕微，只有一個病人因而住院，病毒為何在墨西哥造成這麼多人死亡，在美國卻只造成輕微的疾病，並不清楚。
白宮發言人吉布斯說，國家安全會議、國務院和CDC正密切注意豬流感的情況。
加拿大目前尚無病例，但加國衛生官員23日發布旅遊警告，告誡最近去過墨西哥的加拿大公民，須嚴密注意類似流感的症狀，提醒可能與墨西哥的豬流感有關。
